The Australian Open
Live broadcasting tennis for more than a decade
For the past 13 years Genesis FX and Tennis Radio Network have teamed up to run Australian Open Radio (AO Radio). We set up and produce AO Radio, with studios and broadcast facilities for the two week Grand Slam.
We provide the production and technical staff and we work closely with Tennis Australia to broadcast on FM, stream over the web and deliver blow-by-blow tennis action over smart phone apps.

This is the show where we put technology under the microscope. We take a photo of it with our smartphones, zoom in really close, we chuck it into the blender, press the button and look at what’s happening in technology, innovation, and gadgets that make our lives so much more exciting.

NBN Digital Hub
Demystifying the NBN and marketing
Genesis FX worked closely with the Bacchus Marsh Digital Hub to provide marketing and tutor services for one of the first areas in the country to be connected to the new fibre network.
Through the Digital Hub project hundreds of people with little or no digital literacy started embracing the internet and modern technology.
They were empowered to make informed decisions about services, service providers and the vast array of online entertainment, information and communication.
Tai Chi at Home
Helping get through COVID with Tai Chi at Home
Health and wellbeing has always been on the agenda for Patrick and in his spare time he also teaches Tai Chi. It’s not unusual for the Genesis FX team to practise some of this gentle martial art form during their morning and afternoon tea breaks.
When COVID had us all locked down, Patrick ran some remote sessions to make sure staff working remotely got in a little exercise. He then was inspired to create a website for his students so that they could continue to practise when classes had to be cancelled.
